What
is Landcare? Landcare for us is not just planting trees and caring for
environments, IT's become a new way for SURVIVAL.
This movement's focus is on promoting caring
individuals to enjoy and
nurture
Life around them. Our
association consists of gatherings of local folk blending their
ideas together
for Landcare into organisation. Members, visitors
and new chums
meet regularly in person
and on line.
A Chair-person guides business through a committee and sees to publicising developments.
A
Treasurer controls and monitors finances, membership
subscriptions, other income, pays bills, maintains accounts &
so
on.
Secretaries are responsible for records, correspondence and
taking
minutes at meetings. He or she coordinates schedules around projects,
introduces guests, settles new members and maintains
membership records. Secretaries have application forms for new starters.
Nuts & Bolts Arranger hosts meetings welcoming visitors and guests while setting up, packing away and closing down meeting settings. He or she controls on loan equipment, club property and is responsible for club badges & branding. The nuts & bolts arranger will also have descriptions and plans for each project agenda at meetings and points out which particular Landcare ideas and attributes they involve.

What's a project? Our projects are ergonometrical wonderpieces, fastidious perceptions of outstanding joy. They're satisfying and useful. Resolving neck stretching mill stone situations they're quite handy. Projects begin during meetings with an idea. The iDeas can be big or small. Landcare fun starts with Dinner Tales during meals after sweets beginning roars of laughter:- 'how would that be' hits the spot when it's your turn on the spot to start speaking. Enjoy voicing your opinions and Ideas without prejudice. Give everyone thrills with your unique quirky twists to Life: Spin yarns everyone will enjoy. Throw light on your plight.

about Landcare. Evaluate our developments so far and ask your questions.

everyone to have a go.

After visiting the farm and website, you'll
be dreaming and feel part of Landcare already. As a
guest
in Landcare you can participate, join in the fun and voice your views
and opinions at meetings unless you wish
to sit quietly and pipe up. There is no pressure to do anything. Ask
the secretary...'what
can I
do at meetings?". This way your ideas will be moulded into our affairs.
How do I join? Consult the rules of association before contacting the secretary or treasurer for membership forms. Fill one in. Forward or hand it in with genuine currency, cash, cheque or money order to the treasurer amounting to two Australian dollars.

Golden
Boomerang Landcare hosts picnics on a lease at Palmer's Oaky. They were
established to help re-vegetate properties through Landcare, provide
habitat for native animals and develop cultural centres. A special
aim secures tenure over land for member's of the association
through long leases. The design of the group allows diverse sub
groups to act as unincorporated structures within the association and
share the land. Only one individual acts and votes on the
association's committee from each sub group, representing their
gathering's particular focus, interests and ideas. This method along with the position change arounds insures
a fair go and is for avoiding meeting stacking.
While community associations fulfill a vital need to belong somewhere solid, this association offers more than that; there's fringe benefits. A home base in the Australian bush, entertainment, organisation and fun for everyone, blending all walks of Life together in a wholesome mix.
