MS/Windows- HOME SERVER:

...well we've another toshiba laptop from dick smith, an m300/300 this time with a 160gig external hd thrown in.... let's see how it runs skyping and we might get some more.... talk about ding dong dellies.... after three weeks of over 500megabits of updates and so forth taking a long time over dialup it was discovered the inbuilt microphone was shonky if not wavering. audio driver updating, phonecalls to tosh/serv, trickey did it and replaced the unit...... from our feel though, it still really seemed there was a software glitch, dare we say it, with vista mish mash.. bluesonic speaker's microphone wouldn't work either, though the same speakers and mic is working perfectally on an m100.... if you ask us, there's dreadful glitchaphonics incorporated under vista's lemon hooded insect screen: ...softserve that's gone from bad to worse, back and forth again, over twelve months of visterinGERing..... PiNGiNG in our ears. and BiGTiME Updatin`

so here we go again..... our m300/300 was booted to vista state and is now undergoing intensive micro surgery downgrading to good old XP-HOPEFULLY. that was all part of the package from dick. 'ViSTABusiness +XProllback.... waiting, yes we're waiting..... 14 hours it said to start + kick off time... that's increased to over 17 hours...  Plenty of elbow grease and dur-mess-tossing seems to be rubbing well in 2 de mish.... probably a hd scrub...  my godfather isn't microsoft becoming OUR GLOBAL ViLLAGE LAUGHing STOCK:  some say iDiots.... but no, we say ciber hoods!.................you know, robin's feral mates.

23 odd hours later... woopee... we have XP operating on a brand new toshiba.. if only we could have done this twelve months ago. we bought seven m100s for having on line landcare meetings via yahoo messenger conference with voice, the trouble was, vista was dumb struck from the start and there was no voice at all in yahoo conference....  we weren't the only ones having troubles.... take a google about.... begging dick smith at miranda for some XP boot discs we were refused.... ten thousand dollars gurgling down into a flop.. will we get wind backs for m100s?
