Well there's nothing like a good drought and a few decent downpours to stir up a bit of gold: There's been very little if practically no fair dinkum gold prospecting in these parts since the gold rush in the eighteen hundreds: Of course big time mining companies aren't interested in the stuff floating around the creeks and gullies, they're only bothered with mother loads: so iT's open slather to anyone with a pick and shovel, gold pan or metal detector.... you don't even need a fossicker's licence in New South Wales where Lawrence Hargraves, the box kite expert and probably the first bloke to fly in the world, first found gold in Australia. There's some serious gold around here that can make a good fossicker rich: Yes! thare's gold in thum thare hills: Dog gone iT, tons of the stuff: you just have to find iT: Who said 'hand of faith & a bit of gold fever?'.... this looks more like a nose pick!
